Music videos are the most powerful music promotion tools in the music industry today, and have been for years. SRL's music video discovery and promotion arm, SRLTV is committed to not just discovering and promoting the best videos, behind the scenes clips, tour footage, interviews, teasers, promos, concert videos, and other interesting visuals featuring independent and unsigned musicians, bands and labels around the world, but also finding new and exciting ways to showcase them efficiently so that fans can enjoy them better, find them much more easily, and continue to make them a core part of their music discovery journeys so that the painstaking creative endeavors of the talented musicians, music video producers and directors, actors, extras, models, dancers, choreographers, makeup artists, set designers, video editors and post-production teams involved don't go to waste. Sure we now have apps like Spotify and Apple Music, iHeartRadio, and independent music marketing platforms like Soundcloud, CD Baby and Bandcamp to help us discover new artists, bands and producers but back when these services didn't exist they served a great purpose, and they will continue to do so for as long as the music industry, music and musicians exist.
Today, we launched the new and improved SRLTV website which is packed with new features that allow fans to browse videos by genre, location, artist name or category; search using virtually any keyword; share videos on over 200 social media platforms; browse the top videos; stream and download the pertaining audio tracks and albums in mp3, aac, flac, wav, m4a, wma and a variety of other digital music codecs on popular streaming and download platforms; and watch music video playlists. The existing SRLTV Channels: SRLTV 1, SRL Top 20, SRL Urban Channel and SRL Pop Channel are still available and can be accessed using the buttons at the very top of the the SRLTV homepage. The SRLTV homepage can be accessed directly by visiting musicvideos.skunkradiolive.com or simply clicking the "videos" button in the navigation bars and menus of any page of any SRL website. The old SRLTV site will still remain accessible while we transfer all existing content to the new site but new content will only be available on the new site from today. In the meantime, you can simply click on the "More Music Videos" button (which is located below this update) once you've watched all the music videos on this site to continue viewing older videos on the old site.
This site is still in Beta testing mode but is fully functional.
